Database Query

If you are experiencing problems with the Database Query tool we have found a solution. This only pertains to you if you cannot view the database and execute queries. To resolve this issue you can simply modify the SharpShooter shortcut to enforce a specific compatibility mode, as follows:

1. Right click the SharpShooter shortcut, select Properties
2. From the properties dialog select the Compatibility tab
3. Check "Run this program in compatibility mode for:"
4. Select Windows 98 and save

Please note, this solution does not work for MS Server 2003. It is suggested that you use the free MS Express utility SQL Server Management Studio Express.
